Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2022: Start And End Date

The Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2022 kicks off on December 13 and will run until January 4, 2023.

Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2022 will introduce a series of brand-new Winter Holiday Skins.

For now, Blizzard is keeping the majority of these Skins under wraps. However, going off of years past, we can expect seven to nine fresh seasonal Skins with Winter Wonderland 2022.

As for the Skins we do know of, one is the Epic Ice Queen Brigitte Skin. The Overwatch 2 Season 2 promotional trailer features the Support Hero decked out in ice-blue armour. This Skin can be had for free by simply participating in Winter Wonderland 2022 and completing challenges.

In addition, the Season 2 promo trailer previews a gingerbread Skin for Bastion and a snow angel Skin for Echo. And if you're already looking ahead to Overwatch 2 Lunar New Year 2023, we also got a sneak peek of a rabbit-themed Skin for Mei and Legendary Kkachi Echo Skin.

Of course, the fan-favourite Winter Holiday Skins from the original Overwatch should be available for purchase in the Shop for Overwatch Coins throughout Winter Wonderland 2022.

Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland 2022: Returning Limited-Time Modes

Expect classic Winter Holiday limited-time modes (LTMs) like Freezethaw Elimination, Snowball Deathmatch Yeti Hunt, and Mei’s Snowball Offensive to return for Winter Wonderland 2022. If we're lucky, maybe we'll get a brand-new Winter Holiday LTM to ring in Overwatch 2!

Historically, during the Winter Wonderland Seasonal Events, snowfall covers the Overwatch maps, and Blizzard decorates the surroundings with festive ornaments and trimmings. Chances are, Overwatch 2's battlegrounds will receive a similar winter makeover.
