Jack Marsh
Jack is an Esports Journalist at GGRecon. He joined the team after graduating from the University of Chester, with a BA Honours degree in Journalism. Specialising in Rocket League, Call of Duty, and trending gaming news, Jack aims to bridge the gap between players and audiences with interviews and creative features, alongside breaking esports news. Having been an avid esports enthusiast since Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, he is also knowledgeable in VALORANT and League of Legends.
Joseph Kime
Joseph Kime is the Trending News Journalist for GGRecon from Devon, UK. Before graduating from MarJon University with a degree in Journalism, he started writing music reviews for his own website before writing for the likes of FANDOM, Zavvi and The Digital Fix. He is host of the Big Screen Book Club podcast, and author of Building A Universe, a book that chronicles the history of superhero movies. His favourite games include DOOM (2016), Celeste and Pokemon Emerald.
Tarran Stockton
Tarran Stockton is a Guides Writer at GGRecon. He started his career writing video game reviews for his college newspaper, and studied Media and Communication at the University of Leicester. These days you can find him cranking his FOV up to 100 and playing retro shooters until hand cramp sets in.
Coleman Hamstead
Coleman is a freelance journalist at GGRecon. While gaming has always been his passion, it wasn’t until he worked as a Sports Journalist at the Community College of Baltimore County that he found his enthusiasm for writing. In the time since Coleman has had his work featured in publications such as The Washington Post/Launcher and ESTNN. Coleman is a graduate of Towson University with a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration.
Mackenzie O Brien
Mackenzie has a Bachelor's Degree in English and has worked at various gaming and esports ventures, including Artix Entertainment and Lionbridge. As well as being a Freelance Journalist at GGRecon, she has experience in the social media side to the gaming industry, as she has worked as a blog writer, social media marketer, and even a QA tester.
Joseph "Volamel" Franco
Joseph “Volamel” Franco is a Freelance Journalist at GGRecon. Starting with the Major League Gaming events 2006, he started out primarily following Starcraft 2, Halo 3, and Super Smash Bros. Melee, before transitioning from viewer to journalist. Volamel has covered Overwatch for four years and has ventured into VALORANT as the game continues to grow. His work can also be found on sites like Esports Heaven, HTC Esports, and VP Esports.
André González Rodríguez
André is a Freelance League of Legends Journalist at GGRecon. He has written about his state’s local esports teams such as the Florida Mayhem and the Florida Mutineers on the Valencia Voice (Valencia College’s online newspaper). André has been watching esports since 2013 spanning different titles such as Call of Duty, League of Legends, Overwatch, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Ultimate, as well as other FGC titles.
Jens Koornstra
Jens is an Applied Linguistics student who writes freelance esports content for GGRecon, Rocketeers and RLAftershock. He is especially passionate about the Rocket League scene and has been following it closely since RLCS Season 1. He attended the RLCS Season 2 grand finals as a fan, and the Season 8 grand finals as a reporter. Jens enjoys watching all kinds of esports, from Trackmania to Valorant, and likes to get involved with the esports and their communities.

Jason Fanelli is a freelance games journalist hailing from Philadelphia, PA, USA. Recent bylines include GameSpot, MMORPG.com, Esports.GG, and more. He is also the host of Cheesesteaks and Controllers, an esports and video game-themed podcast and radio show for Fox Sports Radio Philadelphia.
David Coulson
David is a freelance journalist at GGRecon. Beginning his gaming journey in 1993 SNES as an avid Super Mario World fan, his passion for games led him into journalism in 2019. When he's not cranking 90s in Pleasant Park, he can often be found playing the latest releases including Resident Evil, The Legend of Zelda, and Grand Theft Auto.
Oli Hope
Oli Hope is a full-time member of GGRecon staff, who specialises in video journalism. His previous roles include LADbible, GAMINGbible, SPORTbible, GameByte, FragHero, Dugout, Kyma Media, Kairos, and Footy Accumulators. He led teams at both GameByte and Kyma Media and took charge of campaigns/partnerships at Kairos Media.
Jaimie Ditchfield
Jaimie is a freelance writer who can't seem to shut up about Nintendo games. In addition to studying Games Journalism and PR for three years, he is persistent in spreading his love for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Since finishing his degree, Jaimie's work has been published on Nintendo Enthusiast and Zelda Universe.

One who writes for various entities (Looper, Polygon, PC Gamer, Playboy), waking up late in the day to struggle with commas, broken controllers, and nightmares of Resident Evil, when he's not contemplating random facts about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or wondering what Darkwing Duck is up to these days.
Adele Wilson
Adele is a freelancer who loves combining her love for gaming with her passion for writing. Tomb Raider: Legend was one of the first games she ever played properly, with fond memories of sitting there in absolute awe. Fast forward to the present day and she's still waiting for a Legend remaster, maybe one day! She loves MMOs, RPGs, farming sims, cosy indie titles, and anything that tickles her fancy. She'll talk your ear off about Final Fantasy if given the chance, so apologies in advance!
Cheri Faulkner
Having graduated from Leeds Beckett University back when it was still Leeds Met, Cheri went on to become a music journalist penning words for the likes of Punktastic, Live Nation and The Guardian before creating her own outlet, Invicta Media. With this came a natural progression into games journalism and an intense love for the likes of Destiny 2, Pokemon and basically any rogue-like you can think of. When not writing, she can most likely be found in a muddy field at a festival.
Maya Hutchinson
Originally from Monaco, Maya grew up among F1 racing and gambling but her interests were instead drawn to writing and gaming, even graduating with both a BA and MA in Creative Writing. Now Maya is a Freelance writer - having also written for WePC - but is also working on other creative projects, one of which includes writing a novel.
