Overwatch 2 Reaper Early Tips

Your best bet with Reaper in Overwatch 2 is to throw yourself toward enemies and begin firing away. The reason being is that you’ll receive health back for every hit you land on your foe. If you manage to quickly fire consecutive shots, your enemies will find it hard to take you down - especially if you’re engaged in a one-on-one brawl.

However, there will be times when you may feel overwhelmed, even with the healing benefits of The Reaping. If an enemy team is coordinated, this can easily happen, and it can be hard to pick off enemies. If you’re in a tricky situation, be sure to use Reaper’s Wraith Form to quickly evade fire and remove yourself from tricky situations.

There may also be times when long-range characters such as Widowmaker are firing down with deadly sniper shots. In these situations, Reaper can be invaluable if you utilise their Shadow Step ability to teleport to high-up locations and sneak up behind foes. Obviously, with its vulnerable nature Reaper is put in when he enters this mode, it’s advised you do it from a position where you’re hidden.

Putting all of these methods of play together, you can quickly rack up your Ultimate Ability - Death Blossom. Once you’re ready to deploy this, be sure to find a group of enemies close together. Since it distributes so much damage and has such a large spread of the attack, you want to make sure you get the best out of using it. Unlike other Ultimate Abilities, Reaper’s takes a little longer to charge up, so be careful.

In order to unlock Reaper, you can grab her from the get-go if you played the original version of Overwatch. If this is your first rodeo, then purchasing the Watchpoint Pack for £34.99 / $39.99 in Overwatch 2 is a quick way of unlocking her, along with 34 other characters and a variety of skins and coins, along with the Season 1 Battle Pass.
