Overwatch 2 Season 2 Battle Pass: Everything We Know

The Overwatch 2 Season 2 battle pass is still about a month away as of writing this, as it's expected to be released as part of the second season on December 6. Overwatch 2 has a different approach to the previous game and is free-to-play, meaning it features many of the modern design choices of free games. This means more microtransactions than previously, and a battle pass system that's even replaced normal levelling. At this point, we don't know much about the Overwatch 2 Season 2 battle pass apart from its December 6 release date, and how the general battle passes are set to work in Overwatch 2. The new hero joining the game as part of Season 2, Ramattra, is set to be included in the battle pass, requiring players to reach level 55 of the 80 tiers. 

We also know that it will have the same model as the previous battle pass, featuring a free model and a premium model that costs 1000 Overwatch Coins. This premium version will give you Ramattra immediately, and offer another track with more rewards to earn. It's not been confirmed what will make up the rest of the battle pass, but expect it to have items similar to the previous one, such as emotes, weapon charms, XP boosts, skins of varying rarity, Overwatch 2 souvenirs, and much more that you can customise your characters and account with.
