The Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine event is the first time Blizzard has truly acknowledged Valentine's Day in Overwatch. While the event is live, Overwatch 2 players can hop into a Valentine's Day Limited-Time Mode (LTM), complete themed challenges, and earn lovely rewards. Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine Event: Start And End Dates
The Overwatch 2 Valentine's Day event begins February 14, 2023, and will be available for all to enjoy until February 28, 2023.
- The Ultimate Valentine event is just the beginning of what Blizzard has in store for Overwatch 2 Season 3.
Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine Event: Love Of Geometry Limited-Time Mode
While Blizzard has yet to reveal the fine details of the Love of Geometry LTM, we do know that it is a 4 vs. 4 Deathmatch variant where all participants play as Hanzo. Imagine yourself as Cupid, eliminating opponents with calculated arrows. Love of Geometry may include additional twists in line with the theme of the holiday, but that's still up in the air!
Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine Event: Support Your Support Challenges
A successful relationship requires both partners to support one another, so it's only appropriate that the Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine event features limited-time challenges that revolve around Overwatch 2's Support Heroes. Provide support to your teammates using Heroes like Lúcio, Ana, and Mercy to unlock exclusive rewards!
- Lúcio and Mercy are a couple of the best Overwatch 2 heroes for beginners.
Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine Event: Themed Cosmetics
The Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine event includes plenty of themed cosmetics for players to acquire. Some will cost Overwatch Coins, but the majority can be had for free!
Starting with the free goodies, Overwatch 2 players that complete the Support Your Support challenges can unlock rewards like:
- Bitrate Lúcio and Ascendant Zenyatta Epic Skins
- Lovey Dovey Player Icons for Hanzo, Mercy, and Genji
- Valentine's Day Voice Lines for 11 different Heroes
- Kiriko Heart Hands Emote
- Heart Souvenir
And that doesn't even include the themed POTG Highlight granted to players that unlock the secret ending in Loverwatch!
As for the cosmetics that'll cost you, Look for the Cupid Hanzo Bundle in the Featured Store. This Valentine's Day Bundle includes the Cupid Hanzo Legendary Skin, a Highlight Intro, Charm, Souvenir, and Namecard.
Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine Event: Loverwatch
Perhaps the highlight of the Overwatch 2 Ultimate Valentine event is Loverwatch. The Overwatch 2 Loverwatch dating sim is a non-canon text-based dating sim with the goal of romancing either Mercy or Genji.
The way it works is that players are presented with various dialogue options to interact with the Hero of their choosing. Throughout, players will be assisted in their efforts by Cupid Hanzo.
Each playthrough of Loverwatch should take about 30 minutes. And as we mentioned already, there is a themed POTG Highlight that players can earn by unlocking the secret ending!
