Overwatch 2 Starwatch event: Start and end dates

Overwatch 2 Starwatch event: Galactic Rescue LTM
Click to enlargeThe main draw of the Starwatch event is the Galactic Rescue limited-time mode (LTM). Galactic Rescue is a 4v4 game mode that pits the Watchers against the Infinite Empire in a battle for control of the galaxy.
Galactic Rescue takes place on a revamped version of Horizon Lunar Colony. Blizzard removed this unpopular map from Overwatch in early 2022, but now it's back with some much-needed changes.
In Galactic Rescue, the Watchers are assigned the task of infiltrating Horizon Lunar Colony and taking it from the Infinite Empire. Each team will have access to a limited number of heroes. For example, a few of the heroes the Watchers can use include Space Prince Lucio, Extraterrestrial Winston, Intergalactic Smuggler Ashe, and Bonebreaker Doomfist. On the other side, the Infinite Empire can select between heroes like Galactic Emperor Sigma, Infinite Annihilator Bastion, and Infinite Seer Mercy.
Galactic Rescue also incorporates some PvE elements. The Watchers must fight through various objectives as they storm Horizon Lunar Colony, and the Infinite Empire side will have the support of AI turrets.

The challenges and rewards remain a mystery, but expect the Starwatch rewards to consist of themed cosmetics like Overwatch 2 Souvenirs, Weapon Charms, Sprays, Emotes, and maybe even a Skin!
