If you want to make your Seneschal, the mechanical spider-like companion introduced in Diablo 4 Season 3, more powerful by equipping the Evernight and Genesis Tuning Stones and a variety of Governing Stones, you'll need to know where to find Malphas and how to summon him when you get there.

With the arrival of Diablo 4 Season 3, a plethora of new content was introduced in the game, from seasonal quests and activities to bosses, gear, and even a companion.

So to make sure you don't miss out on the new boss and his drops, I've put together a detailed guide on Malphas' location as well as details on how you can summon and defeat Echo of Malphas.

In Diablo 4, you can find both Malphas and Echo of Malphas at the end of the Vault of the Loom.

To unlock the boss, you must complete the Season 3 main questline that you can start at Gea Kul, the location highlighted in the above map screenshot.

Diablo 4 Season 3's main quest is divided into multiple subquests, though they all lead to the Kulle's Heart season quest with the objective "Search the Vaults for Zoltun Kulle's Journals." The quests are easy to locate and complete.

Once you finish that, you will access the different Vaults through The Gatehall POI, the central hub area for Diablo 4 Season 3. That being said, you fight the normal Malphas as a part of the season quest. Meanwhile, you can summon Echo of Malphas inside the Vault of the Loom.

To summon Echo of Malphas in Diablo 4, you must have seven Igneous Cores and 250 Shattered Stones and be in World Tier IV. While you farm the summon materials, try to collect as many Pearls of Warding as possible as you need them to get extra rewards during each Vault of the Loom run.

When you've gathered enough materials, head to The Gatehall and make your way to the southern hall, to the entrance of the Vault of the Loom. Head inside the Vault and take Zoltun's Warding in exchange for Pearls of Warding.

I'd recommend getting around 40 Zoltun's Warding as it's a safe number considering the number of traps you encounter within the Vault and for increasing chances of opening the Wardwoven Chest

Once done, keep heading straight and right near the doorway, you will find the brazier where you must submit the seven Igneous Cores and 250 Shattered Stones. After that, progress through the Vault and at the end, Malphas will be waiting for you.

How to beat Echo of Malphas

Beating Echo of Malphas is not that hard. The only issue when it comes to the boss battle is the traps that he summons that deplete your Zoltun's Warding and run out of heals.

I'd recommend using long-range attacks and getting rid of the trap pillars as soon as Malphas spawns them. Maintaining a distance will also allow you to avoid incoming attacks, as they are directional and not AoE.
