Diablo 4's Season of the Construct has added some new dungeons to the game that are called Vaults, but you may need to know how to access them, as they aren't available from the beginning of the new season.

Now in its third season, the game has tonnes of new content for players to enjoy on their trip around Sanctuary. Vaults are a key part of this update in Diablo 4, offering ways to earn XP, endgame gear, and Legendary items - so here's how to unlock them.

How to unlock Vaults in Diablo 4

Unlocking Vaults in Diablo 4 requires you to finish the new seasonal questline called The Span of our Arms. The tenth quest in this chain, in particular, The Miracle, sees you defeat Malphas, which then lets you access these Vaults.

This will then unlock five different Vaults:

  • Vault of Copper
  • Vault of Stone
  • Vault of Cinders
  • Vault of the Loom
  • Vault of Ink

Each of these can be accessed from The Gateway, which you'll enter at the end of the questline. They can also be found on the surface, with each Vault corresponding to a region, but I found it easier just to visit The Gateway.

Nightmare Vaults can also be unlocked by reaching World Tier 3, but you'll need items called Vault Sigils from the Occultists to access these versions of the dungeons.
