How to create & manage Clans in Diablo 4
How to create a Clan
In Diablo 4, you can create a Clan by heading to the Clan menu accessed via the pause screen. Once in the Clan menu, you get two options: "Join a Clan" and "Create a Clan". Since we are talking about creating Clans, select the latter option, fill out the Clan details, and complete the creation.
Clan Ranks
You can have four ranks in a Clan. These are:
- Recruit
- Member
- Officer
- Clan Leader
Clan settings and features
To view the Clan social features and settings, you can use the Manage Clan option to open the Clan Settings menu. This offers a variety of customization, rules, permission, and other options categorized under four tabs: Summary, Permission, Heraldry, and Bans.
Summary
The Summary tab outlines the basic details of your Clan and what it is about. In this section, you can edit options such as Clan Details, such as visibility, description, language, and labels, and Internal Messages, like a message of the day and Clan information.
The same menu also offers "Disband Clan" and "Leave Clan" options that you can use based on your requirements.
Clan Details
Here are the different options that you will find under the Clan details section.
Visibility
There are two types of Clan visibility in Diablo 4:
- Private: Your Clan will not be listed in search results.
- Public: Your Clan will be listed in search results.
Description
As the name suggests, in this section, you can add your Clan description, talking about the primary purpose of your Clan, its goal, and whatever you want people to see before joining.
Language
The language option is also pretty much self-explanatory as using it; you can set the language of your Clan.
Labels
The labels play a crucial role in getting new Clan mates as it allows you to select the primary purpose of your Clan in terms of labels. Say your Clan is just for social purposes, you can choose the Social label. If your Clan is more focused on levelling and helping other players level up fast, then you can use the Leveling label.
That said, here are the different Clan labels available in Diablo 4:
- Casual
- Hardcore
- PvE
- PvP
- Leveling

In this section, you can set a message for the day that will be visible to all Clan members. If you feel optimistic, you can add some life-related quotes.
