The latest update for VALORANT is upon is in the form of Chapter 6 Act 1. Riot is kicking off 2023 with a bang as it introduces a plethora of new content for VALORANT players to enjoy.
From a brand new map to a whole new line of weapon skins, there's lots to look forward to. However, when exactly can players get their hands on this new content? Keep reading to learn the VALORANT Chapter 6 Act 1 release time.

VALORANT Chapter 6 Act 1 Release Time
If you're waiting patiently for the VALORANT update to drop, then you'll be pleased to hear that there's not long left. The VALORANT servers are set to go down for maintenance at around 6 AM PST, which translates to 9 AM EST on January 10th. Those playing on the US servers can expect to hop into the new VALORANT content shortly afterwards.
However, those playing on European servers will have to wait a little longer. EU server maintenance is scheduled for 4 AM GMT on January 11th, a short while after our US cousins are able to play the new content. It shouldn't be too long after the server maintenance that players can finally log in and try out the new Chapter content.

VALORANT Chapter 6 Act 1: New Lotus Map
The biggest new content addition for VALORANT Chapter 6 Act 1 is the introduction of the new Lotus Map. Set in India, this gorgeous-looking map has a few gameplay tricks up its sleeve to keep things fresh. Most notably, it returns to the three-site map style of Haven, giving Attackers more options in their assault.
Elsewhere, there is a new revolving door mechanic that will surely make for some interesting map traversal plays. There's also a section where players can drop from one level to another silently by using a small gravel slide. We can't wait to see how these new gameplay mechanics play out once they're in the hands of public lobbies.
