In first-person shooter titles like VALORANT, knowing who you're up against in a match is crucial to secure the win. Fortunately, Riot Games allows you to view the rank, match history, and important statistics of other VALORANT players on your friend list. However, what if you wish to track the stats of a random player who isn't on your friend list?

Thanks to VALORANT API and third-party tracker apps, you can quickly look over other players’ stats that too in real-time. This allows you to see who you are up against in the game and their past performance. So, here's how to use it.

How can you search who you are up against?

Using renowned third-party software like the Tracker.GG app, you can easily fetch a detailed report of your opponents. Here’s how to install the app and use it on your system:

  1. Follow this link to download the Tracker application.
  2. Install the software on your computer.
  3. Log in to your account.
  4. Launch VALORANT.
  5. VALORANT Tracker will automatically detect and track your in-game account as you play the game.

Once you’re in the game, the Tracker.GG app will display detailed information about your teammates and opponents, including their ranks, K/D ratios, and agent win rate. By analyzing these statistics, you can gain an advantage over your opponents by identifying their strengths and weaknesses in the game.

However, it’s worth noting that this application only displays the publicly available data. As a result, you can’t track private accounts and view their past performance. Besides this, third-party applications, such as VALORANT trackers, are not endorsed by Riot Games. As a result, chances are you may get banned or receive a temporary cooldown for using them during the game.

Therefore, we advise using this alternative way to search who you are up against in VALORANT. Once in the match, open the scoreboard by pressing the TAB button on your keyboard and hover your mouse cursor over the player’s name that you want to know about in detail. The player's username will then appear on the screen in tiny black text that you have to keep in mind. Then follow these steps to check the past performance of your opponent.

  • Go to Tracker's official website.
  • Use the player tag to look for a specific player.
  • Select the search result to access their match history, stats, and other relevant information.

The website will then display in-depth information about your opponent's skill level under the Performance tab.
