God of War Raganrok is here at last after a four-year wait since God of War (2018). Ahead of the sequel's release on 9 November, developer Sony Santa Monica has already released a Day One patch, Update 2.0. But what is it exactly? Here is everything that comes with God of War Ragnarok Update 2.0.

The latest among four updates for God of War Ragnarok so far, Update 2.0 is only 745MB in size. Generally, this patch mostly provides fixes to numerous bugs; issues with dialogue, cinematics, quests and progression, gameplay, combat, equipment and upgrades, user interface (UI)/user experience (UX), stability and performance, visual impact, and audio, accessibility, and localisation; along with resolving problems specific to Ragnarok's ports across its two consoles, like tuning the DualSense controller's haptics for PS5 and fixing loading hitches on PS4.

The detailed list of Day One patch notes for God of War Ragnarok Update 2.0 is quite extensive, as published on the support section of the Santa Monica Studio website. However, there are potential spoilers for the game included amongst all of those fixes, so keep in mind to proceed with caution if you wish to scroll through them yourself.

With that, you know now all there is to learn about God of War Ragnarok Update 2.0. If you've still not bought the game on PS5 or PS4, why not check our guide answering, "will God of War Ragnarok be on PC?". Alternatively, take a look at how many hours you'll need to beat God of War Ragnarok
