The best ways to get Hacksilver quickly in God of War Ragnarok

By knowing the best ways to earn Hacksilver in God of War Ragnarok, you can upgrade weapons, craft Armor pieces or entire sets, unlock upgrades, buy special items from Sindri and Brok, and do much more.

While there is no one trick to getting Hacksilvers fast without putting in the effort, certain options allow you to obtain a ton of in relatively less time than mindlessly looking for them.

But since the game doesn't precisely point out every option of obtaining the resource, here's the best ways you can go about it.

How to get Hacksilver quickly

Breaking or opening chests

Chests come in different shapes and forms. And based on their names, appearance, shape, size, and a few other attributes, you get different items from them. And thankfully, most of the chests in the game, with the exception of Nornir chests, reward you with Hacksilver.

Especially the wooden chests that are sometimes found right before your eye, some hidden in nooks and crannies, requiring a little exploration. 

Breaking Pots with Nordic Engravings

While God of War Ragnarok generalizes that you can obtain Hacksilvers, Health, and other items by breaking destructible objects, it fails to explain that you must break the pots with Nordic Engravings, like the ones you see in the above screenshot, to obtain Hacksilvers.

Exploration is more rewarding than ever

The game rewards players if they are more into exploration. You will find a ton of Hacksilvers near dead bodies lying on the ground, in pouches found here and there, buckets with breakable handles, and other things. 

Selling artifacts and equipment

You can use your map to check out what a particular area offers. When you navigate to the map either using the touchpad of your DualSense controller or via the manual options, you will find a list of discoverable items that the area offers. Look for Artifacts in particular. Artifacts are pieces of lore that you can sell to Sindri or Brok around the Nine Realms to obtain a large amount of Hacksilver at once.

In our playthrough, whenever we were in an area, we opened the map to check out the Artifacts, Chests, and other things it had to offer. We thoroughly explored the area as each area in the game offers pouches that you can collect to obtain Hacksilver, Chests that you can open to obtain Hacksilver, a particular kind of destructible object that gives you Hacksilver, and many other things.

In the process, we collect Artifacts and then sell them. 

Increasing luck stats

You can increase your Luck Stat through your Armor and other equipment to receive additional Hacksilvers when you obtain them from Chests, Pouches found in the world, and other options.
