God of War Ragnarok was the long-awaited sequel to the GoW reboot from 2018, which expanded the game even further with more areas, quests, fights, loot, and more. With the latest New Game Plus update for the game, you now have the chance to replay it with many of the things you earned on your initial playthrough.

However, you may want to know what carries over in New Game Plus, as well as how to start a new playthrough.

How to start New Game Plus

If you like the sound of all that, you can begin the God of War Ragnarok New Game Plus mode from the main menu, as long as you have a finished save file.

What carries over in New Game Plus?

In the New Game Plus mode, all of your equipment, weapons, and skills will be carried over, allowing you to use them from the beginning of your new playthrough.

Along with this, New Game Plus will allow you to find brand-new equipment, such as the Spartan Armour, Ares Armour, and Zeus Armour, all of which can be bought from the Huldra Brothers' Shop. You will also begin the game with the Armour of the Black Bear.

The mode additionally sees an increased level cap for you to level toward, and new enchantments to apply during your journey.

Some bosses have also been given adjustments, making them much harder to match the powerful weapons you can utilize.
