Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drops are looking like they're back again this year after a bit of a break, giving you the opportunity to earn in-game items while supporting your favourite streamers. Considering that Escape From Tarkov is a game all about the loot, you should take any chance that you can get to pick up some free items, especially within the early-wipe stages. So, to find out all of the details about Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drops, make sure to carry on reading down below.

Are Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drops Coming Back In 2023?

While there has been no official announcement from Battlestate Games, many of the game's streamers have confirmed that Twitch Drops are returning to Escape From Tarkov at the end of 2022/start of 2023.

This is very exciting as they were absent for a year, so you can have the chance to get some free in-game items by just watching your favourite Tarkov streamers.

Some fans might not be too happy with the return of Twitch Drops though, as they had a rather catastrophic effect on the game's servers the last time it happened, which most would like to avoid. However, considering they were skipped for a year, hopefully BSG can get them working in a way that doesn't overload the game, especially if they're arriving with a new Escape From Tarkov wipe and the hotly anticipated Streets of Tarkov.

As mentioned, we haven't received any official information about this year's edition of Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drops from BSG yet, but we can take a good guess as to how they'll work based on previous years.

First of all, like any Twitch Drops, you will need to make sure that your Battlestate Games/Escape From Tarkov account is linked to your Twitch, as otherwise your watch time won't be tracked.

From there, all you will need to do will be to tune in to the designated streamers at any point during the event to earn the drops. Each day will have different streamers, so make sure to check to see who has been highlighted each day.

Once you have watched enough though, you will be entitled to various in-game drops to help you in your raids. These have ranged from weapons, to ammo, and even valuable loot items in the past, so it is likely that we will see this again. Considering that you lose your kit upon death, you should never turn your nose up at free gear and loot!

So, that's everything we currently know about the Escape From Tarkov Twitch Drops, but make sure to check back later for any new updated and official information that is released. In the meantime though, why not ensure that you're getting the best framerate and visibility with this Escape From Tarkov best settings guide.
