The Escape From Tarkov Hot Delivery quest from Ragman is both high risk and hard to follow, making it rather punishing for unaware players. The Escape From Tarkov developers seem to love being vague with their quest descriptions, which can be a real pain when you're lugging around some seriously expensive items. So, for all the information you'll need to complete the Escape From Tarkov Hot Delivery quest, make sure to carry on reading.

The Escape From Tarkov Hot Delivery quest is a plant-style task, which requires you to bring certain specific items into a raid and stash them in a location. The items in question that you will need to stash are:

  • 2x Peltor ComTac 2 headsets
  • 2x 6B47 Ratnik-BSh helmets
  • 2x BNTI Gzhel-K body armours

The official objective remains rather obscure, indicating only towards a 'specified place' where the items need to be stashed. However, if you read the actual quest dialogue - which you always should - you will see that the helmet and headset need to be placed in the Avokado store and the body armour by the stage on the outside on the Escape From Tarkov Interchange map.

You will also need to be at least level 29 to start the quest, but this can cause some issues that we will explain later with getting your hands on the Gzhel armour.

As a reward for going through the effort of planting all six items, Ragman will bestow upon you the following rewards:

  • 55,000 Roubles
  • 20,300 XP
  • 1x IOTV Gen4 body armour (and also unlocks barter at Ragman LL4)
  • An increase of 0.04 to your Ragman rep

So, if you want to find out how to complete the Escape From Tarkov Hot Delivery quest, do yourself a favour and have a read on below.

How To Complete The Escape From Tarkov Hot Delivery Quest

The first thing you're going to want to do in order to complete the Escape From Tarkov Hot Delivery quest is to obtain the items that you need to stash. The best thing about this quest - and all other plant-based quests for this matter - is that once you've planted the item you don't need to do it again. If you get interrupted mid-plant you still need to go back, but once it's done it's done for good. This is especially handy in this quest as the materials can be quite a bit on the pricey side of things.

The 6B47 helmet is the easiest to get a hold of, as you can either buy it directly from Prapor for 33,336₽, or trade it with Ragman at LL1 for two bleach. The trade is the far better option of the two, as it will only cost you roughly 20,000₽ comparatively, so you can pick up the two required for just a bit over the price of one.

The ComTacs are a bit more expensive though, and you'll want to steer clear of the Trader purchase unless you really need money spent on Ragman. The three matches barter at Ragman LL2 is much better value at around 35,000₽, but you can also get them directly on the Escape From Tarkov flea market for around 40,000₽ if you want the convenience.

Finally, the hardest to acquire of the lot is definitely the Gzhel, for a multitude of different reasons. For a start, it is one of the many Escape From Tarkov flea market banned items due to its class five armour rating, but it is also rather difficult to get your hands on from Traders too. The earliest possible point you can acquire it is at Ragman LL3 for a barter that will cost around 139,000₽. While this is equal to the Trader price that you will be able to buy after completing the Supervisor quest from Ragman (which has a level 40 entry point) it does require you to get to Ragman LL3 fairly early.

If you have the extra 0.20 rep from purchasing the Prepare for Escape or Edge of Darkness editions of the game then you will only need to complete the first four or so quests from Ragman to reach the 0.30 rep requirement, but you will also need to get to level 32 which is still three levels above the starting point of this quest. If you don't have the benefits of the rep bonus though, you will probably be at around 0.25 rep, and therefore in a bit of a pickle.

What you might have to end up doing is trying to find the Gzhels out in the wild, either from other PMCs, or from general loot drops. The good thing is that the durability of the armour doesn't matter, so you could shred through someone else's Gzhel with some of the best Escape From Tarkov ammo, and it will still be just as plantable as a full-health one. Depending on the point in the wipe you're at, Gzhels could be quite a popular choice with PMCs, but that still requires you to get the upper hand over them with the right ammo and a bit of skill too.

Once you've got your hands on all of the parts though, it is time to bring them into a raid. In terms of storage, it might be worth doing one Gzhel at a time, especially if you don't have access to them otherwise. If you have the secure container Gamma then the 3x3 size of the Gzhel will just about fit in, but otherwise, you'll have to keep it in your backpack. As the Ratnik and ComTacs are a lot cheaper though you can be as relatively carefree as you wish.

You will need to plant the Gzhel in the main outside parking lot, next to the stage right in the middle. What this means is that you will be incredibly exposed, especially at the start of the raid when it is used as one of the main passageways into the ULTRA mall. We recommend planting this at night as, although some PMCs will be using Escape From Tarkov night vision, it makes you a far less obvious target than in broad daylight.

If you're unsure about where to find the stage, just head right to the centre of the parking lot, opposite the entrance to ULTRA, and it should be hard to miss. You'll want to be planting the armour in the stack of boxes to the right of the stage if you're facing it from the front.

For the helmet and the headset, you'll want to head inside the mall and find the Avokado store. The best way to do this from the parking lot if you're doing it in one go is to head through the ULTRA doors, move up the stairs, and then turn right to go past the KIBA store in the centre of the mall. Once you get to the end of that passage, where the hole in the floor is, the Avokado shop will be right there on your left.

If you go all the way to the back of the shop to the Goshan side, there should be another pile of cardboard boxes underneath a large 'Avokado' sign on the wall. This is where you'll have to plant the four items. Make sure to listen out though, as this can be quite a common spot for PMCs to roam around, and you could also run into the dangerous scav boss Killa on your way here.

Once you've managed to plant all of the items, all you need to do now is extract from the map. The great thing about this is that you don't technically need to do it in the raid that you planted the items, so you could die even after planting everything, and just head into another Interchange raid and extract to complete the quest.

So, that's how to complete the Escape From Tarkov Hot Delivery quest, giving you all the locations and tips to acquire the items you'll need to make Ragman happy once again.
