Apex Legends Wraith is the first choice for a lot of new players. It’s fair, in all honesty - she’s a great all-rounder character with unique abilities that boost her agility and ability to ambush enemies, despite the sheer number of agile characters now kicking about in Apex Legends. She’s a pretty fascinating character too, with a backstory and nature that has driven a lot of the story so far. If you want to build up your Apex Legends Wraith abilities, keep reading.

Wraith’s tactical ability, Into The Void, is one of the most useful across the entire game of Apex Legends. Her repositioning ability allows for her to enter and re-enter the void, vanishing from the arena to appear again a few seconds later after gaining a speed boost. It’s an ability that can pull Wraith out of even the tightest gunfights, and allows her to either ambush or flee effectively.

Her passive is also incredibly useful - the voices that call from the void and reach to Wraith can warn her if she’s being aimed at, if traps are nearby, or if any other danger is lurking around the corner.

Wraith’s ultimate is the ultimate rotation tool, planting a dimensional rift that allows players to warp away from (or into) combat in a flash. The planting process leaves Wraith vulnerable and unable to shoot, but once planted, it’s a great asset to her teams.

Wraith is best applied as an aggressive legend. Her abilities allow for her to make big, strong pushes and get out of trouble quickly, and her passive ability makes it easy to relay enemy movements too. She’s a legend practically designed for natural leaders, so if you’re playing Wraith, be ready to bark some orders at your teammates.

One point that many players forget when using Wraith’s ultimate is that the vulnerability created by her weapons being stashed away can be offset by using her tactical ability at the same time. You can travel through the void while preparing your rift, so if you need to escape across a hot zone to get your team to safety, this is a great tactic to pull out for seriously reduced damage as you cross that open plain.

The ultimate is also considered solely in the context of gunfights - but it’s also applied well when considering downed players who need a revive. If you’ve got a teammate stranded in an unsafe corner, start your rift next to them and get to a safe spot where you can pick them up and get them back in the fight.

Many years ago, Renee Blasey woke up in an IMC detention facility without any of her memories, or any semblance of who she was. She was once a great science pilot who volunteered herself for her own experiment, but it all came at the price of cacophonous voices in her head a deep connection with the void.

After meeting with a version of herself that helped her to escape the facility and breach the fabric orf reality, she fights in the Apex Games to learn more about herself through the abandoned IMC bases that the arenas are often built on. And with every passing match, she gets closer to figuring out who exactly she is.

That’s everything you need to know about Apex Legends’ interdimensional skirmisher, and you should know everything you need to to take the enemy team by surprise. Good luck out there!
