Apex Legends crossplay fans all join in the same games despite the hardware they’re using, and is a great tool to unite players of any console together, so mates can play together and lobbies can stay busy.
Crossplay is a great addition to Apex Legends that has helped to seriously dampen the so-called ‘console wars’, allowing players on any console to play together and drastically reduce allegiances in gaming. It’s been an incredible addition to the world of gaming, and especially to Apex Legends, a game that focuses on team play.
Without Apex Legends crossplay, there’s every chance that a lot of players would be left out in the cold without teammates, so it’s a great feature for the game to have. Here's what you need to know about how to use Apex Legends crossplay.
How To Enable Apex Legends Crossplay
If you’re on any of Apex Legends’ many consoles or platforms, your cross-play should already be turned on - you can use your in-game account to play with players on other platforms. But, if you need to double-check it or turn the feature off, here’s what you need to do.
Once you’re in the game’s lobby, click on the cogwheel that will open another menu. Click on Settings from here, scroll down to cross-platform play, and you can turn it on and off from there.
Cross-play is a great addition to the game and will give you the chance to play with your pals no matter your console. Jump in!
