Destiny 2 Twitch drops are a great way to get some extra goodies as a reward for your viewership, so long as you have them active. Destiny 2 has a major event coming up with the Final Shape showcase, the next expansion that is set to close this chapter of the game.

Twitch drops will be active during the showcase, allowing players to snag a swanky new emblem for watching along. Here is everything you need to know about Destiny 2 Twitch drops ahead of the Final Shape showcase.

How to activate Twitch drops for Destiny 2

In order to activate Twitch drops for Destiny 2, you need to link your Bungie account with your Twitch account. The first step is to go to Bungie.net and sign into your account. Once signed in, click on your avatar icon in the top right of the page to bring up the menu, then click Settings.

In the Settings menu, choose Account Linking. You will then see a list of platforms you can link your account to, Twitch being among them. Click the Link Account button beside Twitch, and it will bring you to the website. If you are not logged into Twitch on your device, you will be prompted to log in now.

Once you are logged in, it is as simple as clicking the Authorize button, and your accounts are linked. Now you only need to watch Destiny events on Twitch in order to receive any Twitch drops in Destiny 2.

In summary, the steps are:

  • Log in to Bungie.net
  • Go to Settings, then Account Linking
  • Click the Link Account option for Twitch
  • Sign in to your Twitch account
  • Select Authorize

That is it - with these steps done, you are ready to go.

Destiny 2 Twitch drop rewards

There are often rewards for having your Twitch account linked when watching a Destiny event, such as the Final Shape showcase on August 22. The showcase kicks off at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST, so be sure to set a reminder.
