Bungie has revealed its roadmap for the next chapter of Destiny, but the developer has also added a lovely throwback in the form of classic armour sets.

Harkening back to the Destiny 1 days, these Hunter, Titan, and Warlock looks are. It's a great way to celebrate the franchise's tenth anniversary - and they're remarkably easy to obtain, too.

No eververse microtransactions, no complex quest objectives - just a quick scavenger hunt through the Lost City on the Pale Heart destination. Here's how to get the 10th Anniversary Armour.

How to get the Veteran Legend armour in Destiny 2

To get the classic armour, you'll need to find five chests in the Lost City landing zone of the Pale Heart. These chests, dubbed Cayde's Stashes, each contain a piece of the armour, so you'll need five to complete the set.

You'll get a telltale 'Cayde Stash Nearby' message on the left of your screen when you're close to one.

If you're running multiple characters, you'll need to find all five chests three times. That means fifteen chests total, but they stay in the same locations each time.

Chest 1

Once you land in the Lost City, head to the gantry above the corridor that goes to the Speaker's chamber.

Head to the easternmost point, then hop to another gantry and you'll find the green-hued chest there.

Chest 2

After claiming chest 1, head to the Speaker's chamber and look to your right to find the second chest.

Chest 3

Head to the opposite side of the zone, and onto the balcony overlooking the rest of the Pale Heart.

You'll find the third chest there.

Chest 4

Head towards the 'back' of the main Tower area (West on the map). You'll find a stack of crates with the Cayde Stash sitting on one side.

Chest 5

After finding Chest 4, head to the stairs then take the right-hand staircase down. You'll find the Cayde Stash under some greenery in the stairwell.

How to get Destiny 2 Anniversary Ornaments

Want to customize your existing armour with the retro anniversary look? Rather than spending time grinding, Bungie will let you claim a bundle of Ornaments at the Special Delivery Kiosk in the Tower (between the Cryptarch and the Gunsmith).
