Destiny 2 Radiant Light is one of the best mods in the game, so many players are clambering to add it to their inventory. Yet as is the fashion with Destiny 2, Bungie leaves the players to discover how this mod can work with your current build. Destiny 2 is flooded with mods, armour, weapon, super stats, so let's ease the burden with our guide on Destiny 2 Radiant Light, including what makes it so good, and how to get it.
- There is still time for players to earn the incredible Zephyr sword in Destiny 2, so check out our Destiny 2 The Pigeon Provides quest walkthrough while it's still available.
Destiny 2 Radiant Light: What Does It Do?
Destiny 2 Radiant Light is one of the many mods that you can kit out your Guardian with. While Radiant Light does benefit you with an increase to strength, the main benefit of Radiant Light is Charged with Light ability. This ability means that if you cast your Super nearby allies, they will become Charged with Light. Charged with Light is an ability that can be influenced by other mods in your inventory.
Depending on which you choose it can increase damage resistance, super energy, provide damage buffs, and even boost health on grenade kills. This means that Radiant Light, and by proxy Charged with Light, are brilliant tactics for both PvP and PvE Raids, as it can bolster your entire team and come close to infinite special ammo and so on. Additionally if you equip an Arc mod, you will activate the second perk, which in this case is a 20+ strength boost, which will increase melee damage.
The Charged with Light ability can only be applied to armour with a fourth mod slot - so any legendary or exotic armour - but with this Radiant Light you will need Arc armour or armour with no elemental affinity. You will also need at least three energy for that specific bit of armour, so be sure to upgrade your armour energy with glimmer and legendary shards.
Destiny 2 Radiant Light: How To Get Radiant Light
Destiny 2 Radiant Light doesn't come around all too often, so if you are reading this guide you'll want to jump over to The Tower as soon as possible. Heading over to the west side of The Tower you want to speak with Ada-1, the Armour Synthesis, who can be found by the Loom. Ada-1 is currently selling Destiny 2 Radiant Light, which can be bought for 10 Mod Components.
If you are a little shy on Mod Components, the only way to currently earn them is through Banshee-44, who can also be found on The Tower. Carry out any of the bounties for Banshee-44, which tend to require you to gain kills on a specific type of weapon, and you will be rewarded with two Mod Components per bounty.
That's everything you need to know about Destiny 2 Radiant Light. If you are checking out Destiny 2 The Dawning 2021 event then head over to our Destiny 2 Rite of Dawning guide.
