Destiny 2 system requirements are a bar you will need to clear in order to play the game on PC. Destiny 2 is available on all major platforms, and since Bungie moved away from Activision it has been available on PC via Steam. Below are the system requirements you will need to meet in order to play the game, both the minimum and the recommended. Here is everything you need to know about Destiny 2 system requirements.

Destiny 2 System Requirements: Minimum Requirements
Thankfully, the minimum system requirements for Destiny 2 would suggest that the game is playable on just about any relatively modern gaming PC. While Destiny 2 can be an absolutely stunning game, it seems that the developers have done what they can to make sure the game is available to all. Here are the minimum specifications for Destiny 2.
- Intel Core i3 3250 running at 3.5 GHz or an AMD FX-4350 running at 4.2 GHz
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 with 2GB of RAM or AMD Radeon HD 7850 with 2GB of RAM
- At least 6GB of RAM
- 105GB of storage space
The biggest hurdle for running Destiny 2 on PC seems to really be the sheer amount of storage the game requires. MMOs are big games, and Destiny 2 is no different.

Destiny 2 System Requirements: Recommended Specifications
When it comes to PC gaming, the sky is the limit for how far you can push your machine and how much money you can spend on better parts. Brand new and top-of-the-line PC parts will get you the absolute most out of Destiny 2, but only if you have the cash to burn.
A more useful way of looking at it is, what do you need in order to get the intended experience? How much horsepower does your PC need to play the game it was meant to be played? Here are the recommended specifications for Destiny 2.
- Intel Core i5 7400 running at 3.5 GHz, or an AMD Ryzen R5 1600X running at 3.6 GHz
- NVIDIA GTX 1060 with 6GB of RAM, or an AMD R9 390 with 8GB of RAM
- 8GB of RAM
- 105GB of storage space
As you can see, even the recommended specifications are quite modest. Destiny 2 launched in 2017 and on a previous generation of consoles, so it was not built to run on the much more powerful machines we have today. If you are new to PC gaming or thinking about moving over to play Destiny 2 this way, rest assured you do not need to break the bank.
