Destiny 2 From Zero is a Lightfall sidequest that takes you all over Neomuna. Destiny 2 has plenty of extra quests and activities to complete which flesh out the world of the game. From Zero is the first of two quests that have you doing tasks to help the people of Neptune. Here is everything you need to know about the Destiny 2 From Zero quest.

Starting the From Zero quest and finding Region chests

While completing the Lightfall campaign you will chat with Nimbus many times. Later in the campaign, they will give you the From Zero quest. If you haven't gotten it yet, just keep playing the campaign, you can't really miss it. If you have completed the campaign but somehow skipped the quest, go chat to Nimbus or go to the quest kiosk in the Tower to reacquire it.

The first step is to retrieve supplies from three Region chests. These are the gold chests that each region has a certain amount of, they even appear on your map. The map icons will get you to the location, but even still you may find the chests difficult to spot.

There are three Region chests in Zephyr Concourse, making this a handy spot to complete this quest step. On your map, you will see there is one chest in the north, one in the west, and one in the south. The northern chest is on top of a large awning. To get on top of it, jump on the small awning to the west of it, then up to the large one.

The western chest is in a store behind a large window. Go directly below the store to the lower level and you will find another one, this one with a broken window. Go through the gap in the window, then up through the vents to reach the chest.

The eastern chest is attained by going to the southeast of the concourse and looking across to the other buildings. Below, you will see a couple of small balconies and ledges. Jump down to them, and go into the window on the left to find the third chest.

Completing tasks and defeating Trask

The next step of the quest has you completing public events, looting chests, and finding planetary materials. There isn't much to know about this step, you simply need to spend some time around Neomuna, completing activities and picking up anything you find. Equip a Ghost shell mod that shows nearby materials if you want to speed up the process.

Once done, your next task is to take out a powerful Shadow Legion commander called Trask. He is found in Esi Terminal, west of Zephyr Concourse. This is an area you wouldn't visit often outside of campaign missions, so it might be a tad confusing.

Take the path west from Zephyr Concourse and when you come to the fork, go left. Follow that path around to the right, through the door directly in front of you, and continue until you come to a large open space.

You will find Trask here, labelled as an Esteemed Centurion, surrounded by other Shadow Legion. Take him out, then return to Nimbus when you can. Speak to them to complete the quest and receive your reward, the Iterative Loop. This is an Arc Fusion Rifle that can be crafted after you unlock its pattern.
