How to get all Helldivers 2 Twitch drops
Helldivers 2 Twitch drops offer a way for players to get some freebies for the game by just watching streamers - so you may need a primer on how it all works.
Helldivers 2 has launched to success, with lots of players jumping in to battle hordes of aliens and robots on distant planets. Customisation plays a large role in the game, allowing you to deck out your soldier with new cosmetics. While many of these are earned through the battle pass or purchased, others can be gained from Twitch drops.
How to get Helldivers 2 Twitch drops
Getting Twitch drop rewards for Helldivers 2 requires you to connect your Twitch account to the platform you play Helldivers on, and then watch a stream of the game for an hour.
Click to enlargeThis campaign allows you to get the TR-117 Alpha Commander skin for your soldier, and it's set to run until February 23, at 6 pm GMT, giving you plenty of time to claim the reward.
Connecting your account
To connect your accounts and participate in the campaign, you need to head to your Twitch profile. Select the 'Connections' tab, and then link either your Steam or PlayStation account, depending on your chosen platform.
What streams to watch?
After successfully linking your accounts, watch one of the participating channels for an hour when they are streaming Helldivers 2. These are:
- LIRIK
- shroud
- summit1g
- ShivFPS
- Sacriel
If you're stuck for time, you don't need to sit there and actively watch one of the streams for an hour. Just leaving it on in the background and even muting the webpage (not the stream itself) is fine.
Redeeming the reward
Once you have met the criteria and watched an hour of Helldivers 2 on Twitch, you should get a reminder on the 'Notifications' tab at the top of the Twitch page.
Selecting the notification of the reward will officially claim it, and gift it to your Helldivers account for you to use.
Just head to your inventory in the game to find the item.
