Here's how long it takes to reach max level in Helldivers 2
Rome wasn’t built in a day and spreading democracy won’t happen overnight, so it will take quite a long time to reach the maximum level Helldivers 2. The more you play the game, earning XP and Medals along the way, the higher level you will become - but the main goal is to conquer planets.
The planets you’re liberating have a meter next to them with how close they are to completion. A planet can only be fully conquered when the gauge beside the planet has been filled and this is a joint effort by all the players combined.
This is the main goal, but your personal goal will be hitting max level and unlocking everything along the way.
What’s the Helldivers 2 max level?
The max level in Helldivers 2 is level 150. At launch, it was only level 50, but the cap was raised as part of the 1.000.200 patch, which also introduced a slew of new titles to earn.
Most of the gear unlocked by hitting a certain level will be available to you after reaching 25, so after this point, it's more about bragging rights.
Fortunately, as shown in our review, the game is so enjoyable you’re not necessarily playing for the grind, it's more about having a good time with your pals.
How long does it take to reach max level?
You’re looking at well over 100 hours in the game to reach the maximum level.
It’s hard to give an exact number because your XP gains will vary considerably depending on which difficulty mode you play. You will level up much faster if you play on Helldive mode than you would on Easy mode.
I've put in around 70 hours so far, and I'm only level 35, though some of this time has been spent farming Super Credits on easier difficulties.
