The Destiny 2 Rose legendary hand cannon is a reward for participating in the new competitive mode in the Crucible. Destiny 2's Crucible is a PvP mode that allows players to face off against each other, with a new focus this season on competitive play. Rose is a hand cannon that players might remember from the lore, but getting it might prove trickier than it should be. Here is everything you need to know about how to get the Destiny 2 Rose hand cannon.

The method for getting Rose is, or should be, quite simple. The new competitive mode requires players to complete several matches to achieve their placement. Seven Crucible matches are needed to get your first rank.

You don't need to win your placement matches, you don't even need to do well. So long as you complete your placement matches, you will be given a rank, and earn the Rose weapon. However, that might not work out quite so simply.

Unfortunately, many players are experiencing a bug when it comes to acquiring Rose. Upon completing their placement matches, the gun is simply not unlocking. There doesn't appear to be anything players can do, as this issue can only be solved at the developers' end. We will need to wait for a fix from Bungie before the gun can be safely acquired this way.

Thankfully, there is more than one way to get Rose. As well as from completing placement matches, Rose will be a reward for completing a weekly competitive Crucible challenge. This means there will be plenty of opportunities to get the weapon going forward, so if you completed your placement matches and didn't get the weapon, don't worry, it will be available soon.

That is it for how to get the Destiny 2 Rose hand cannon. For more on the game, check out our Destiny 2 Cloudstriders guide.
