Destiny 2 K1 Revelation is one of the lost sectors that goes deep under the surface of the Moon. Destiny 2 tasks players with delving into these lost sectors at very high difficulties in order to acquire new exotic armour. The tricky part is, to get the armour you need to tackle these lost sectors alone. Here is everything you need to know to take on the Destiny 2 K1 Revelation lost sector on Master or Legend difficulty.

Destiny 2 K1 Revelation: Preparation

Destiny 2 K1 Revelation: Preparation

As with all Master and Legend difficulty lost sectors, we have Locked Equipment, Match Game, and Extra Shields to contend with. This means more enemies have shields, those shields are extremely hard to break without the right element, and your loadout is locked in once you start the encounter. This lost sector has Barrier and Unstoppable Champions, so be sure to equip the correct mods for those.

The burn for this Lost Sector is Void, but we will need some Arc to deal with the shields as well. Void is always a great burn to get, especially since the Destiny 2 Void 3.0 update, and right now is a great time for Void Hunters rocking the Gyrfalcon's Hauberk. Lastly, the Fire Pit modifier is active, which has enemies leaving pits of flame wherever they die.

Destiny 2 K1 Revelation: Strategy

The first area of the lost sector is a straightforward affair, just a bunch of Acolytes filling the room. Use an ad-clear weapon, preferably something with a bit of range like an auto rifle or a pulse rifle, and ideally a Void weapon for that extra Void damage.

Once these enemies are done, head forward into the massive chasm and on a ledge below you will find your first Barrier Knight. Use the ledge as cover and take it out from a distance. A good ranged weapon like a linear fusion rifle would be perfect for this job, and several more coming up.

When the Knight is dead, move forward toward the bridge. Defeat the wave of Acolytes that emerge, then look to your left across the room. You should see a Shrieker come to life, as well as more enemies spawning below. Among them will be a Barrier Knight, but again we can use distance to our advantage. Take out the Shrieker, the Knight and as many of the smaller enemies as you can from here before crossing to the other side.

The next section is where things start to get dicey. There are four shards in the area, each one is shielded, and you need to break them. At each shard, there will be plenty of enemies causing you trouble. Defeat them and more will appear,  until an Unstoppable Ogre arrives. Defeat the Ogre and the shield around the floating shard will disappear, allowing you to shoot it.

Start at the bottom of the hill, and use the cliff to your left for cover from the enemies above. Once you have destroyed the first shard, you should focus on the one above you to the left next, as enemies in that area can surround you if you move forward. Take out as many as you can from below or on the bridge you were previously on, defeat the Ogre and break the shard. Now you can move forward into the area.

Use the ample cover in this area to pick your battles, and take out enemies from a distance. There is one last Unstoppable Ogre to deal with on the right side of the room, and once it is down you can break the shard. Do that, and make sure you have cleared out all of the smaller enemies. With the first three shards destroyed, the shield on the final one will be removed. Break the last shard and the boss will appear.

The boss is yet another Ogre, not an especially tough challenge at that. As soon as it spawns, hit it with a Void super. Shadowshots or a Nova Bomb will do most of the work, then you just need to hit it with a few shots from your heavy weapon to polish it off.

There are some more enemies that appear shortly after the boss, and it is important to deal with them. Defeating champions is necessary for getting the scores you need to get exotic drops, so you need to defeat one last Barrier Knight. Should be fairly simple at this stage, take it out along with the handful of Acolytes, then head over to the chest to get your reward.

That is everything you need to do to complete the Destiny 2 K1 Revelation lost sector on Master or Legend difficulty. For tips on another challenge, check out our Destiny 2 Spire of the Watcher dungeon walkthrough.
