Destiny 2 has expanded its RPG elements over the years, giving players a lot of options for setting up their Guardians. Heal Thyself is a Charged With Light mod, making it part of a particular set of armour mods - so here's everything you need to know about how to obtain and use it.

How to get Heal Thyself

These days, there is one simple way to get new armour mods, as every day, Ada-1 sells a selection of armour mods. She has four mods available every day, and each one will set you back 10,000 Glimmer.

Considering how plentiful Glimmer is, and how often mods move in and out of the meta, it's good practice to visit Ada-1 often and buy up anything you don't already own.

Ada-1 can be found in the Annex, at the western end of the Tower. To get there, head to the Bazaar, then down the stairs to the right.

Follow the stairs down to the bottom, and instead of heading toward the Drifter, go right into the small room and through the gap to find Ada-1's workshop. Chat to her to see her stock, and grab any mods you want.

Using Heal Thyself in Destiny 2

To make use of it, you need to pair Heal Thyself with other mods that keep you stocked up on stacks of Charged With Light. By itself, Heal thyself doesn't do much, but in the right build, it can keep you alive in the trickiest situations.

While most armour mods have no affiliation, many are part of sets with overarching abilities. These include Warmind Cell mods, Elemental Well mods, and Charged With Light mods. Charged With Light mods all make use of the Charged With Light mechanic, but each mod uses it in a different way.

Heal Thyself makes grenade final blows heal you, at the cost of one stack of Charged With Light. Any mod that heals you is a welcome addition, with this one being particularly useful in a grenade-based build.
