Fall Guys Promises To Delete Yellow Team If They Get 1 Million Retweets
UPDATE: Since this article was first published, Fall Guys' official Twitter confirmed that their original tweet was actually a joke, but has now promised that thanks to the huge response online, if the tweet does manage to surpass the 1,000,000 mark, they will remove the yellow team from the game.
Mediatonic has thrown a challenge your way and promised it will delete the controversial Yellow Team from Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout if they can get 1,000,000 retweets. Maybe it's because they're laggy or maybe it's because they remind some of us of Minions, but either way, the Yellow Team could be for the chop.
We've all had that moment of dread when you see you've been assigned to the Yellow Team. Thankfully, it might not happen for much longer. Fall Guys producer Alex Sudowhaley has said he could "literally" delete the Yellow Team, which has prompted the official Twitter to tempt fate.
Safe to say, the gauntlet has been thrown down and you've sharpened your pitchforks for a bloodbath. At the time of writing nearly 10,000 people have retweeted, meaning the tweet is getting an average of 1,000 retweets every minute. Even those in the know have got in on the action, with YouTube favourite MrBeast writing, "I have the ability to tell the future and it is saying this will get 1,000,000 retweets".
It's a clever marketing move as Fall Guys continues to be everyone's obsession and approaches 1,000,000 followers on Twitter. Personally, we don't see the Yellow Team surviving this one. We'd better get those tribute posts ready. Well, at least it will finally break the curse of the Yellow Team. All we need to do know is decide what colour should replace yellow. Personally, we'd like to see a nice Purple Team so it looks like grapes are running around.
