It seems that (once again), Fortnite is leading the charge on what helps to make a free-to-play game popular. But, don't let that stop Fall Guys from muscling in on the action.

Fortnite started with its battle royale gameplay revolutionising the gaming landscape, and it has culminated in the re-launch of its Creative Mode. Giving players even more means to create their own games inside of its engine.

It's at this point that free-to-play games are starting to feel a little empty without a Creative Mode, so we're lucky that the others are playing catch-up. Hopefully, Fall Guys is about to level up in what will be the funniest way.

Fall Guys creative mode is almost here

A new look at the Fall Guys Creative Mode shows what's coming to the Total Wipeout simulator, and it looks about as mad as we could have hoped. The video reveals peeks not only at the builder mode itself, but also at a wealth of new platforms, obstacles, and decorations you can add to your brand-new level.

There are limits imposed on the level creator itself, for now, to encourage you to focus on making your games fun before they're made too long, but it wouldn't be a surprise to find that these boundaries will be revisited after launch.

The video doesn't just focus on Fall Guys Creative Mode, though, as it reveals new details about the upcoming Coin Quest and more features about an upcoming vaporwave-themed season.

When is Fall Guys Creative Mode launching?

We know that Fall Guys Creative Mode is going to be an absolute riot, for groups of friends especially - and thankfully, we don't have that long to wait before its release.

Fall Guys Creative Mode will arrive as part of Season 4 on May 10, which is only next week. This means that it's only a matter of days until you can build the perfect torture chambers for your friends' beans. We'll link you to our horrible creations when they're done.
