Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Prioritize Resolution vs. Prioritize FPS – Which is better?
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an action roleplaying from the creators of Nioh that offers two graphic modes for players to choose between, Prioritize Resolution and Prioritize FPS.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Prioritize Resolution vs. Prioritize FPS – Which is better?

We have been playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty for about two weeks as of writing, and based on our experience, we recommend you choose the Prioritize Resolution graphic mode as it runs the game at 1440p at 60 FPS with minor frame drops.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Prioritize Resolution game mode doesn't run the game at native 4K. Instead, it upscales the 1440p resolution to 4K to maintain a consistent 60 FPS. Although there are some set pieces where you may notice the frames drop from 60 to 54~56 FPS, it doesn't affect the game much.
Click to enlargeMeanwhile, the Prioritize FPS mode also runs the game at 1440p, but there's a difference, the game switches to dynamic resolution and caps FPS at 60. So, if you are playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on a PS5 with Prioritize FPS graphic mode selected, the average resolution will be 1332p, and FPS is 60, almost all the time.

On the other hand, if you are playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on Xbox Series X, with the Prioritize FPS graphic mode, the game has a dynamic resolution, with the common resolution being 1296p with 60 FPS.

Since 60 FPS is more than enough to play a game like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Prioritize Resolution is a great option. Using this mode, you don't lose the slightest of details.
