Warframe Ephemera: How To Use Ephemera Cosmetics

The Warframe Ephemera cosmetics allow players to customise their characters even more with special visual effects, giving them another way to distinguish themselves from other players. Warframe is a free-to-play third-person shooter where players wear special combat suits called Warframes, which have tonnes of options for customisation. Warframe Ephemera: What Are Ephemera?

A Warframe Ephemera is a type of cosmetic item that can be equipped to your Warframes and Operators. They give you special visual effects that emanate from your character's body and create a trail when you move, giving you an extra form of customisation to create your unique character. There are many Ephemeras in the game, and they can be obtained a few ways, ranging from crafting them yourself, to buying them, and earning them from special events. It's worth noting that they cannot be traded with other players though.

To use and equip them, you will need to go to the Arsenal page which can be accessed from your Orbiter. Navigate to the Appearance tab on this page, and then locate the Attachments option. From here there will be a section for your Ephemera cosmetics where you can select and equip them, but if you haven't acquired any of these cosmetics yet, then the option won't appear.

Below is the list of all the current Ephemera's in the game. We'll list the name and the description of it, but note that some of these are from special events in the game's past and can no longer be accessed at all. 

• Bleeding Body - A grisly blood effect emanates from your Warframe
• Smoking Body - The Warframe body emits smoke
• Conquera - Wear the Ribbon Ephemera as a symbol of support in the Quest to conquer cancer
• Crania - Surround yourself with the echoes of the fallen - earned on the Steel Path

• Fae Path - Your Warframe leaves a trail of fireflies and forest leaves in its wake
• Festering - Persistent sores and bubbles burst with every move
• Ki'Teer - Spread the influence of the System's greatest trader wherever you go
• Lotus - Your Warframe leaves a trail of fragrant petals in its wake

• Baurahn Prime - Coiling, hissing, the spirits of flame ride with their kin
• Catena Prime - Levitating crystals create a web of luminous connections; Gara Prime's signature Ephemera

• Corposant Prime - Luminous plasma leaps off surfaces in your presence
• Sanguinax Prime - Spread Garuda Prime's wings of slaughter with this flowing Ephemera
• Protovyre - An evolving Ephemera that draws upon Sentient technology, letting you upgrade to the Protovyre Emergent and Protovyre Apex
• Spring Step - Mark the path to a new season with a trail of decorative eggs
• Naberus - A warrior walks, alone in crowds, companion to moon and mist and bat, with a vision grim the mind enshrouds
• Nyctalus - Spread the membranous wings of night with this haunting Ephemera
• Spinneret - A rogue slinks, along a line, deadly patience its tactic, in sparkling moonlight eyes shine, ruthless, skulking arachnid
• Dog Days - Soak off with this Dog Days Ephemera
• Eros Wings - Wings to lift your love starward
• Frostfall - Become the heart of the winter, beneath a cloud of falling snow
• Peach Blossom - Surround your Warframe with softly falling peach blossoms, to celebrate the Lunar Renewal
• Gloriana - An icily imperious Ephemera seized from a converted or vanquished Sister of Parvos
• Hypatia - A radiant Ephemera seized from a converted or vanquished Sister of Parvos
