How many worlds are there in Super Mario Wonder?

Super Mario Wonder has now been released, and there are plenty of levels in each of the worlds to get stuck into. If you want to know the extensive list of worlds and levels in the game, make sure to keep reading.

Super Mario Wonder is full of interesting mechanics, such as Mario being able to take on different transformations, including an elephant. The worlds are full of surprises, and you never know quite what to expect as you play.

Here's how many worlds there are in Super Mario Wonder, including a full list of all the worlds and levels.

How many worlds can you play in Super Mario Wonder?

In total, there are seven worlds that you can play through in Super Mario Wonder.

There are the standard worlds from one to six, and then a special world to unlock at the end as well. In order to access the secret world in Super Mario Wonder, you have to unlock all of the Flower Petal levels across the map.

There are a lot of levels scattered across the worlds in Super Mario Wonder. Right now, we don’t know the exact number of levels there are, as all the secret levels have yet to be found by players.

However, from those who have played the game so far, we can estimate there are at least 129 levels included in the game.

While the majority of these are full-scale levels, a lot of them are also races, arenas, badge levels, and more.

Here is the full list of levels for Super Mario Wonder:

World 1: Pipe-Rock Plateau

World 1 is full of variety and explains some of the mechanics that you’ll come across in the game, such as Mario transforming into an elephant, as well as levels that take place in the sky. 

Petal Isles

The Petal Isles is the central hub in Super Mario Wonder, and features plenty of stages in itself. Here, you'll find a variety of levels, including underwater ones, plenty of challenges, and even a few shops.

World 2: Fluff-Puff Peaks

These levels predominantly take place in the sky or in the clouds, with purple backdrops. Some of the levels even take place in space! 

World 3: Shining Falls

This world is golden and has lots of metallic colourings throughout the world, with a lot of geometric patterns in the background. 

World 4: Sunbaked Desert 

As with most Mario games, there is also a world revolving around the desert. Most of these levels take place in the sandy desert, which may mean traversal is a little bit difficult sometimes with the dense sand.

World 5: Fungi Mines

Expect to see plenty of Piranha plants and mushrooms in this world, as it has an overarching nature theme to it.

World 6: Deep Magma Bog

You guessed it, this world takes place in a place with a magma backdrop, meaning every wrong step could land you in hot magma and have to restart the level. 

Special World (Secret)

These levels consist of levels hidden throughout the worlds of Super Mario Wonder, and all take place in different landscapes and have different requirements for completion.

Bonus Game-Over Stage

If you die in Super Mario Wonder, there is a chance that when you get the game-over screen, you’ll instead be sent to Coins Galore!
