Frog Coins are an essential item in Super Mario RPG if you want to get your hands on some rare items.

There are lots of ways to find Frog Coins in the game, and multiple places to spend them. In this guide I'll run you through a couple different methods of obtaining Frog Coins and where you need to go to use them.

So without further ado, here's our quick Frog Coin walkthrough!

One of the best ways to get Frog Coins is by defeating special enemies. You might notice some fights have an enemy with a "special enemy" title beneath their name. These are stronger versions of normal enemies and they drop Frog Coins when defeated.

You can also get Frog Coins in mini-games like Midas River. These mini-games can be replayed if you revisit the areas where they take place. Keep an eye out for Frog Coins in any of the mini-games so you don't miss them - but if you do, you can always go back and grab them.

Frog Coins can be spent at the Frog Coin Emporium in Super Mario RPG. You can find this shop to the top left when you enter Tadpole Pond. Here you can buy items like Sleepy Bombs or Energizers.

You can also spend Frog Coins inside one of the houses in Seaside Town. There's a frog here who will sell you more valuable items in exchange for Frog Coins, including the Flower Ring that cuts FP cost in half. You'll need to stockpile lots of Frog Coins for these better items.

That's all you need to know about finding Frog Coins - spend them wisely and make sure you get the items you want most!
