When it comes to the best Pokemon UNITE Blissey builds, there are several to choose from. Blissey is arguably one of the best Pokemon UNITE Supports because the Pokemon has so much utility to choose from. All of Blissey’s moves can be perfect in the right situation, and there are two great ways to build the Support Pokemon. Here are the best Pokemon UNITE Blissey builds, along with its stats and moveset.

Special moves

Passive Skill: Natural Cure - All status effects are removed from Blissey, but the ability will go on cooldown after it’s triggered.

Unite Move: Bliss Assistance - Blissey will dash to an ally Pokemon and give it an egg. The ally Pokemon will receive a shield and also have increased Attack and Special Attack for a short time. Blissey will take some of the damage being given to the ally Pokemon. When Blissey is dashing to the ally Pokemon, nearby enemy users are knocked.

Pound - Blissey attacks in one direction to any enemy Pokemon in the area of effect while also decreasing their movement speed on hit. At level 6, the move upgrades to one of the two below:

  • Egg Bomb - Blissey tosses an egg that explodes and deals damage to Pokemon in the area while also knocking them back. At level 10 this move will also decrease enemy Pokemon’s movement speed.
  • Helping Hand - Blissey and all nearby allies will have increased movement speed and attack speed. Also, all of Blissey’s attacks will be boosted attacks. At level 10 this will also increase the length of these effects.

Heal Pulse - Blissey will heal both itself and another ally Pokemon for a brief period. At level 4, the move upgrades to one of the two below:

  • Soft-Boiled - Blissey will throw an egg at an ally Pokemon which will restore both Blissey and the Pokemon’s health. This move can be charged three times. At level 12, Blissey can hold more than three charges.
  • Safeguard - Blissey will remove all status effects from an ally Pokemon while also making it immune to potential status effects for a short time. At level 12, this also gives the ally Pokemon a shield.

Now that you know what Blissey can do, here’s the best way to build the Pokemon.

Pokemon Unite Blissey builds: The cheerful healer

  • Focus: Supporting
  • Area: Bottom
  • Move 1 Upgrade: Helping Hand
  • Move 2 Upgrade: Soft-Boiled
  • Battle Item: Eject Button
  • Held Items
    • Leftovers
    • Exp. Share
    • Focus Band

One of the things that Blissey does best is heal -- just taking a lot at the Pokemon’s kit will explain just why. Almost all of her abilities are meant to help her allies, whether it be through healing or status effects, and this build is going to help you do just that.

When you’re playing with this build, you’ll want to pay attention to what you’re doing in the middle of a teamfight. You’ll want to hang out behind all your teammates, including your attackers, and be ready to use Soft-Boiled once allies start getting low. Luckily, you can hold multiple charges of the move, so you should be able to do this pretty easily. Eject Button should help you maneuver around any enemies coming for you.

Helping Hand is good to use when the enemy team is on the run or your team is trying to escape a sticky situation. You and your allies will move quicker and attack faster, making it much harder for enemies to escape or catch up with you.

The goal of the Held Items in this build is to cover Blissey’s natural weak spots. While Blissey is an outstanding Supporter, the Pokemon is extremely weak anytime there aren’t any teammates around. Focus Band and Leftovers are meant to help Blissey stay alive while you run to a teammate in the event you’re ever alone. Exp. Share will help Blissey stay caught up with its team without having to take wild Pokemon -- instead, leave them for allies.

  • Focus: Supporting
  • Area: Bottom
  • Move 1 Upgrade: Egg Bomb
  • Move 2 Upgrade: Safeguard
  • Battle Item: Eject Button
  • Held Items
    • Rocky Helmet
    • Exp. Share
    • Buddy Barrier

If you have a team you know you can trust, then running an Aggressive build on Blissey isn’t a bad idea. The goal of this is to have Blissey support the team in ways that don’t necessarily include healing, relying instead on allies to keep their HP up themselves. Safeguard can be used to help allies who end up in a tight spot due to enemy status effects.

This build is centered around creating a space for allies to score points since that’s the main goal of the game. By using Egg Bomb, Blissey can knock opponents away from allies trying to score, giving teammates more time to do so. It can also knock enemies into a group of allies for a quick K.O. Eject Button will help Blissey get wherever it needs to be in order to make full use of Egg Bomb.

It’s difficult to build Blissey for anything other than Support -- Exp. Share is going to be necessary, along with Buddy Barrier since you’re looking to help your team out. In this aggro build, Rocky Helmet is a good third item to have. It will give Blissey some extra time in teamfights to be alive, and Blissey can keep enemies off the goals easier when enemies are hurting themselves to attack Blissey.
