How to get the Zacian Pokemon UNITE License for free
If you want to bring the powerful All-Rounder Zacian to the Pokemon UNITE battlefield, you will need to unlock its UNITE license. This guide will run you through how to snag this Generation 8 sword doggo, as well as a bunch of other goodies, for free in Pokemon UNITE.
How to obtain the Zacian Pokemon UNITE License
Launched to celebrate Pokemon Day, Adventure in Zacians Weald is the first 2023 Pokemon UNITE event. Upon earning 600 Adventure Coins, players will be able to exchange them for a permanent Zacian UNITE License.
Click to enlargeAt the time of writing, this event is the only way to unlock the character. It is expected that Zacian will be available in the shop only after the event ends.
How to earn 'Adventure In Zacians Weald' rewards
Click to enlargeAdventure in Zacians Weald begins on Pokemon Day, February 27, 2023. It will run until March 27, 2023 at 12:00 AM UTC.
To begin with, Trainers can pick up some sweet Pokemon Day drip in the form of a snazzy t-shirt. Now you’re suitably dressed for such an occasion, it’s time to take the first steps of your Adventure in Zacians Weald.
The core gameplay sees you roll a die to move spaces on the board. Each space gives you a random limited-time license and rental Holowear, along with an Adventure Mission related to that Pokemon. For example, if you receive an Absol License, you’ll need to complete the Absol mission assigned to you, found by clicking on the blue button in the bottom right of mobile and Nintendo Switch screens.
If you already own the UNITE license, this will be converted into Aeos tickets.
How to earn Dice
Click to enlargeYou will receive three dice rolls every day they log in to the game. If you want to fast-track your free Zacian UNITE License, you can purchase an extra Adventure Die for 20 Aeos Gems. But be warned! You can only obtain a maximum of 50 dice this way.
How to earn Adventure Coins
Click to enlargeYou’ll need 600 Adventure Coins to buy Zacian’s UNITE License. Completing a mission will bag you 12 Adventure Coins. If you’re struggling to complete a mission, or you just want to unlock Zacian as quickly as possible, you can pay 4 Aeos Gems (purchased with real-life money) to automatically finish the mission and receive the reward.
Bear in mind that one of the first rewards you receive after you clear the first map is a 7-day Trial License for Zacian.
If you pass a goal square on the board, you will be rewarded with 12 Adventure Coins and Aeos Tickets.
