While Ore can be found in various locations in the game, many players are curious about whether they can build an Ore farm just like the berry plantation.

Can you build an Ore farm in Palworld?

The short answer is no. You cannot build an Ore farm at your base in Palworld because there’s no such technology available in the game as of now. Perhaps the developers will add it in a future update, but for now, you must farm it through traditional methods.

Worry not, though, as we’ve figured out a solution to help you farm a ton of Ore so that you can fulfill your needs.

First of all, you must head to a location where Ore is found in abundance. The best places to start are west of Rayne Tower or in the Anubis desert. Once you’re at one of these locations, you will find plenty of ore rocks highlighted in gray with red coloration. You can easily distinguish them from regular rocks, and you will need a pickaxe to extract it.

The most effective method to farm Ore in Palworld is by crafting a second Palbox at the location we mentioned above. Once built, deploy a Pal at your second base with mining work traits, such as Astegon, Anubis, or Tombat. These creatures will automatically farm Ore for you, allowing you to complete other tasks in the meantime. The second Palbox unlocks at player Level 10.

After around 10 minutes, collect all the mined Ore from your second base and use the fast travel option in the Palbox to teleport to your main base. Finally, deposit all the ore in your storage box and repeat this process as many times as you want until you're all stocked up on this important resource.
