As is the case with any Soulslike game, Lies of P has a huge assortment of notorious bosses who are just waiting to stop you in your tracks. And, of course, some are more difficult than others and pose a significant threat to your progress in the game. We’re here to lend a hand with beating the Mad Donkey boss in Lies of P and everything you will get for doing so once you've found him.

Where can you find the Mad Donkey?
The Mad Donkey fight cannot be missed, and he will be found on the bridge linking Elysion Boulevard to Krat City Hall.
He isn’t hard to spot, just look for the fellow in a donkey mask banging on the door of a dilapidated carriage.

How to beat the Mad Donkey boss
To beat the Mad Donkey boss in Lies of P, you’re going to have to put all the combat skills you’ve learned on the way to good use, mostly with your guard and parries.
The Mad Donkey is a human-sized boss as opposed to the massive mechanical monstrosity of the Parade Master, so fighting him will require you to read his telegraphed attacks.
Click to enlargeIf you want to close the gap with the Mad Donkey, you can also use your Puppet String Legion Arm to pull him toward you to get a few significant hits in.
When he is raising his large blade, be sure to memorize the timing for the attack to impact, so that you can be prepared to guard at the perfect time, and riposte with an almighty parry.
Additionally, if you see a window for a charged attack, take it so that you can deal some significant damage to his health bar. Keep whittling away, and the Mad Donkey will soon be no more.

Additionally, the number of Pulse Cell uses will increase. This means you will be able to top up your health a little more frequently. Although that might have come in handy before the boss fight.
