If you’ve stumbled across Alidoro in Lies of P, you may be wondering whether you should lie to him or tell him the truth, sending him either to Venigni Works or Hotel Krat. If you’re struggling with the decision you have to make, we can tell you everything you need to know about where to send this hunter, and what it means to lie or tell the truth in the game.

There are a lot of NPCs that you come across in Lies of P, and telling the truth can sometimes lead to boss battles if you aren’t careful. On the other hand, lying can sometimes prove beneficial depending on what question is being asked of you.

Here is what you should do when Alidoro asks if there is anywhere safe he can travel to in Lies of P, and whether you should send him to Hotel Krat or Venigni Works.

No matter how many times you lie to Alidoro, he will eventually end up at Hotel Krat. If you feel that you don’t trust Alidoro, you can lie and send him to Venigni Works. However, you will eventually bump into him again anyway, and he will be upset that you lied.  

Alidoro is a vendor where you can exchange your Rare Ergo for boss weapons and amulets. Because of this, it is worth telling the truth from the get-go, sending Alidoro to Hotel Krat at the earliest opportunity.

Be warned, however - lying or telling the truth can affect the ending that you will get. So, depending on the ending that you're trying to get, you may choose to lie anyway.

Personally, we found that sending Alidoro to Hotel Krat early was more beneficial for us, as it let us get access to some of those coveted boss weapons a little earlier in the game.
