Will Lies of P have an open world?
Whilst the world of Lies of P is incredibly expansive, it won’t be the same open world that we are accustomed to through many other open-world games such as Elden Ring - instead opting for big linear-style areas that players can explore as they navigate throughout the world.
Equally, the areas will not be shut off to players once you have explored them and completed the area boss, so you will be able to return, and explore them more thoroughly once you have done what you needed to the first time.
In short, Lies of P is a linear-world experience. However, it will have elements of seamlessness to it to give it the feel of an open-world game, so players don’t feel too trapped by the world around them. This still gives players plenty of space to explore, without feeling too cramped by the game’s linear style.
That’s everything you need to know about Lies of P being open-world.
