Just like in Insomniac’s original Spider-Man game, the newest instalment in the franchise comes with a number of suits to unlock as the game progresses.

There will be over 65 alternative spidey suits for Peter Parker and Miles Morales to wear when the game launches, however post launch suits also seem to be in the works from some unlikely sources.

An unexpected collab appears to be bringing post launch suits to Spider-Man 2

On 12 October, it was announced on Twitter that fashion designer Colm Dillane, also known as KidSuper, would be teaming up with PlayStation and three other celebrities to design custom suits for the game.

Alongside KidSuper, Japanese singer and actress Rina Sawayama, racing driver Lando Norris, and footballer Vinicius Junior are also working on the custom designed suits.

The designs of the suits have not yet been confirmed, however the video included with the tweet does indicate what the three public figures would like to create.

Rina Sawayama indicated a preference for leather, Lando Norris said he likes the idea of stealth, and Vinicius Junior stated it would be cool to have a suit in the Brazilian colours.

As of yet it is not confirmed as to whether the post launch suits will be free or not.

The Spider-Man 2 suits have already leaked online

While Spider-Man 2 isn’t set to release until 20 October, some players have already been able to access the game.

One of these players has seemingly already unlocked all of the suits, sharing an image of them online.

Some of these have been shared by Insomniac Games themselves, including the recently revealed Brooklyn 2099 and Kumo Suits. Others have only been posted by leakers.

The State of Play event on 14 September confirmed that there will be over 65 suits included in the game, including outfits from the comics and movies and original Insomniac designs.
