Will Minecraft Legends be playable with Steam Deck support and verification? Minecraft Legends is coming soon to just about every available platform, including Steam. The Steam Deck isn't guaranteed to run every game that comes to Steam, but getting games on it is certainly a priority. Here is everything we about Minecraft Legends Steam Deck support.

Games that can be played on the Steam Deck are known as Steam Deck verified. By looking through the Steam app, you can check which games are and aren't verified to work on the Steam Deck.

The Steam Deck is a powerful machine, but it is essentially a handheld computer. Many new games cannot run on the device, especially not at their full graphical potential. Thankfully, that shouldn't be an issue for a game like Minecraft Legends.

Unfortunately, there has not yet been confirmation on whether or not Minecraft Legends will definitely have Steam Deck support at launch. It seems likely, considering its modest PC requirements and the fact that it is coming to many platforms, like the Switch.

We may have to wait until the game launches on 18 April to find out for sure, but surely we will know before too long if the game can be played on a Steam Deck.

Are there other ways to play the game on Steam Deck?

There just might be, but you didn't hear it from us, capiche? Just joking, there's nothing dodgy or sinister here, but there is a way to work around the Steam Deck's limitations. This may even be a preferable method for anyone who subscribes to PC Game Pass.

As the Steam Deck is a Linux computer, it can access the internet via a browser. By doing so, you can play Game Pass games via cloud streaming. Minecraft Legends is coming to Game Pass on day one, and it will be available to play via streaming.

It isn't the most ideal solution, but if you really want to play the game on your Steam Deck and no official support comes, this workaround could help you out.

That is everything we currently know about Minecraft Legends Steam Deck support, we will be back when more details are revealed. For more, check out all the other games coming to Xbox Game Pass in April.
