Some gamers may want to know if Gotham Knights is coming to Switch, as it's one of the most hotly anticipated games of the year and release date is slowly creeping closer. Gotham Knights is the first open-world DC Universe game since 2015s Arkham Knight, so fans who have been missing the bat family and the huge rogue's gallery of Batman villains have a lot to look forward too.

It was initially announced for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but these had to be abandoned, likely due to technical issues that would also make it impossible to run on the Switch's five-year-old hardware.
The only way that we could see Gotham Knights on the Switch is if Nintendo releases a more powerful version, like the heavily rumoured Switch 2, though this could be a while away. The only other option would be a potential Cloud Version.
Some games on the Switch, like Guardians of the Galaxy and Resident Evil 7, can only be played by streaming the game with cloud technology due to the hardware requirements, so Gotham Knights would need to be streamed online. Otherwise, it's simply unfeasible for the game to be ported to the hybrid console.
