Gotham Knights Voice Actors: The Gotham Knights
The core of the game is the Knights themselves, the four proteges of Batman who have to take up the responsibility of defending Gotham in his absence. The first of which was of course Dick Grayson, the original Robin. Now Nightwing, he is voiced by Christopher Sean. Christopher has had a number of TV and film roles, as well as lending his voice to games like Marvel's Avengers, Fallout 76 and Ghost of Tsushima. Nightwing is his first major character in a video game voice role.
Following on we have Barbara Gordon, best known to us as Batgirl. The last bat in Gotham is voiced by America Young, an experienced actor with one previous video game role under her belt, as the voice of the virtual Steelport in Saints Row IV. She also played Samus Aran in a short film with Jessica Chobot in 2015.
Lending his voice to Robin is Sloane Morgan, a young actor who seems fitting for the young Tim Drake. This is Sloane's first video game role. That is not the case for Stephen Oyoung, a veteran video game voice actor who plays Jason Todd, the Red Hood. Stephen has worked on games such as Ghostwire Tokyo, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and Death Stranding. He might be most recognisable from playing Martin Li, or Mister Negative in Marvel's Spider-Man in 2018.
- If you enjoy exploration, you will be happy to hear that the Gotham Knights map is absolutely massive.
Gotham Knights Voice Actors: The Villains
It wouldn't be Gotham without the wide cast of villains who terrorize the city. Many of the classic Batman villains appear in the game, with more likely to be in the game, kept secret for players to discover. One of the most prominently featured is Harley Quinn, who is voiced by Kari Wahlgren. Kari is a stalwart of animation voiceover, having appeared in dozens of cartoons and animations, many of which within the DC universe. She has even appeared in the Harley Quinn animated series, but this is her first time portraying the character.
Another veteran of voice acting is Elias Toufexis, who will lend his voice to the Penguin, Oswald Cobblepot. Elias has appeared in many video games, such as the recent Saints Row reboot and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. In contrast, Talia Al-Ghul will be portrayed by Mylène Dinh-Robic, who has almost no previous experience in video games. Funnily enough, her one video game role was Meredith Quill in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, a game that many have compared Gotham Knights to quite heavily.
There are two other confirmed actors playing villainous roles, those being Brain Keane as fellow actor Clayface, and Gabriel Pages as the voice of the Talon. Brain Keane has many credits to his name, including multiple appearances on the various versions of Law and Order. Fittingly, he made one appearance in the Batman prequel series Gotham. Gabriel Pages is making his video game debut, but also fittingly he appeared on a TV series called Titans. No relation, however.
Gotham Knights Voice Actors: Supporting Characters
Gotham Knights is the story of what were once supporting characters taking the central role, but the Knights still need some help. Of course, the game will feature the ultimate support character, perhaps the most supporting character of all time, Alfred Pennyworth. Batman's long-time butler, father figure and friend has sadly outlived his surrogate son, but persists to lend the same level of help to the rest of the family. Alfred is played by Glidart Jackson, who is best known for his voice work on Hellsing Ultimate and as Flyseyes in the Castlevania animated series.
Appearing posthumously in the game will be the Dark Knight himself, with Michael Antonakos lending his voice to Bruce Wayne. Michael is a seasoned actor, both on screen and as a voice actor. His video game credits include Far Cry 6 and Subnautica: Below Zero, but he is most recognisable for playing Alexios, one of the two playable characters in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
