How to complete the 'Ghost of our Love' quest in Hogwarts Legacy
The 'Ghost of our Love' quest in Hogwarts Legacy is an optional side quest you can pick up from the graveyard in Hogsmeade. You may stumble across this Hogwarts Legacy quest during your meeting with the Headless Hunt and during 'The Search For The Missing Pages' main quest. Where can you find the map with floating candles for the 'Ghost of our Love Quest?

This side quest will trigger once you pick up a treasure map depicting floating candles, a bridge, and a forest. Without any further information, it is your job to decipher the clues and find the treasure beyond.
You can encounter the quest in several different ways depending on which Hogwarts house you belong to. No matter the house, the quest will become available just before the main 'Jackdaw's Rest' quest.
If you are in Gryffindor House, you will receive this quest during the 'Hunt For The Missing Pages' quest by picking the map up off a gravestone in the Hogsmeade Graveyard during the headless hunt quest. During this time, you have to locate Jackdaw's head amongst the pumpkins.
Players in Ravenclaw house have reported finding the map during the 'Ollivander's Heirloom' quest, on the upper floor of the Owlery (left side on the roof).
For Slytherins, you can pick up the map during the 'Scrope's Last Hope' quest. The map will be in a chest inside the grotto containing Apollonia Black's journal. Here, you will also encounter Jackdaw and trigger his quest line.
Lastly, you get the treasure map during the Azkaban storyline if you belong to Hufflepuff House. This quest is called 'Prisoner of Love'.

How to complete The Ghost of our Love quest

As the map will suggest, you must find the floating candles using the Lumos spell, they will be located near a bridge and must be found at night-time (as depicted by the moon symbol above the trees).
To solve the treasure map, follow these steps:
- If your game is currently set in the daytime, go into the main menu and choose the 'Wait' option on the map screen. If on PS5 this is completed by pressing R3.
- Travel to the entrance of the Forbidden Forest southwest of Hogsmeade. This is pointed out to you on the pathway into Hogsmeade when you first discover the village. There should be a Floo waypoint here.
- From the waypoint and Forbidden Forest signs, turn around to face a stone bridge.
- Advance towards the bridge and cast Lumos.
- Floating candles will appear and move as you walk back to the Forbidden Forest signs.
- Follow the Candles forwards.
- The candles will lead to a romantic spot, a table, and chairs overlooking the lake.
- As you step closer, more candles will spawn as well as a treasure chest.
- As a reward, you'll get 400 galleons, an item of clothing, and a completed mark toward the side quests challenge.
