Starting The Hippogriff Marks The Spot

To begin this side quest, fast travel to the Poidsear Castle Floo Flame, which is by the top-left of the Poidsear Coast region. Then, cast Revelio to highlight Henrietta's Map in blue within one of the tents by the castle.

If you passed through the castle already, the sidequest marker will already be on this part of your map. Now, go pick it up. With that, The Hippogriff Marks the Spot will begin.

Go to Henrietta's Hideaway

To find Henrietta's treasure in The Hippogriff Marks the Spot, you'll need to go to Henrietta's Hideaway - near the bottom of the Manor Cape region, located towards the bottom-right of the World Map. As soon as you arrive, cast Revelio to reveal the hideaway and where to enter. 

As in our Solved by the Bell guide, you'll need to solve the immediate puzzle by using Accio to move the cubes onto the platforms, then Incendio and Glacious on each cube, respectively. 

Enter the room with the Hippogriff statue and defeat the Ashwinders inside. Now, you need to solve the Hippogriff Marks the Spot puzzle.

To solve The Hippogriff Marks the Spot's puzzle, you need to face the statue and think of the burners surrounding it like a clock face. Using Incindio and Glacio, you'll need to keep alight the burners that represent 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 4/5 o'clock, and 9/10 o'clock - whilst snuffing out the others. 

Do so, and the wall behind the Hippogriff Statue will open to reveal a chest containing 400 Gold and the Treasure-Seeker's Gloves appearance. With that, the Hippogriff Marks the Spot Hogwarts Legacy quest is complete.
