The bridge puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy is a set of braziers located on the large bridge outside of the Central Hall doors. The bridge connects the Library Annex to the Great Hall in Hogwarts Legacy, so it's important that you solve it as soon as you can.

Below is everything you need to know about how to solve one of the most challenging puzzles in the game.

What is the Bridge puzzle solution?

As you walk towards the four braziers, you'll see that you can turn the dials underneath them to represent a different Roman numeral.  You should also notice that each brazier has a symbol underneath them.

The key to this puzzle is finding the metal seal on the ground outside of the Central Hall doors. This seal shows which numerals need to be applied to which symbol.

Now, go to each brazier and interact with them until they have the correct numeral applied. You can only turn the dial on them if they are lit. Cast a flame spell like Incendio and Confringo on them to do this.

Bridge puzzle numerals

As pictured above, to fully solve the Hogwarts Legacy bridge puzzle, each numeral should be set to the following:

  • The diamond shape with the inner cross should be set to four (IV)
  • The circle with the semi-circle and line through it should be set to two (II)
  • The triangle that looks like a Deathly Hallows sign, with a circle and single line within it must be set to three (III)
  • The triangle with the six lines across it should be set to one (I)

Once you have set all braziers to the correct numeral, the seal will open to reveal a secret walkway underneath the bridge.

Travel down the ladder and explore to find a legendary chest and two smaller treasure chests.
