Genshin Impact Runic Fangs are an essential resource to find as you’ll need them to help you strengthen Heizou, Shinobu, and Yelan. However, they will be hard to obtain in Genshin Impact as you need to defeat a mighty boss. Here’s how to find all of the the Genshin Impact Runic Fangs.

How to locate the Runic Fangs in Genshin Impact

The Runic Fangs are gained by defeating the Ruin Serpant, which is located in The Chasm: Underground Mines in Liyue. To gain access to this area, you’ll need to get to Adventure Rank 28, and then complete two quests: Chapter 1: Act III - A New Star Approaches and Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering. This means that beginner players with Heizou, Shinobu, and Yelan have to wait a long time to ascend them.

To access this area, you’ll have to go underground. Once you’re arrived, seek a boss monster called the Ruin Serpent. This monster will drop the Runic Fangs you desire. Depending on your progress in the game, it will be Level 30 or over, so get your best heroes in your squad. We recommend someone with water and another with electricity. Water and ice could work with characters like Barbara, Chongyun, Mona, Xingqui and Kaeya. You can also upgrade your weapons before this fight.

You’ll see it snaking its way through the ground as a gust of sand shifts around the room. Before getting into contact with the boss, equip the Limenstone Adjuvant, which has been given to you previously in the story. You’ll find it in the Gadgets section of your Inventory menu. The Limenstone Adjuvent will be required later.

Now, start attacking the serpent, constantly switching between a water user and a electric type. The attacks will electrocute the monster, adding to the damage. After a while, it will suppress purple sand. Don’t stand in it as it will poison your character.

When it begins to charge an attack, use the Limenstone Adjuvent by the pressing the Z key or your controller equivalent, which is marked in the game’s UI. Using this item will eliminate the purple sand and will weaken the Ruin Serpant. It will eventually go down and be phased for a few moments. At this point, pump out your strongest attacks to significantly lower its HP.

Something else to keep in mind is that you need to keep the Limenstone Adjuvent charged. You can do this by breaking down the yellow crystal that appears in the middle of the battlefield.

Keep repeating these steps and avoiding its attacks to triumph over the Ruin Serpant. After it’s defeated, you’ll gain many rewards, including the Runic Fangs you require. You may have to eliminate this boss multiple times to grind these resources.

You’ll need a total of 46 Runic Fangs to fully upgrade the detective Heizou, for example. In one fight, we gained a measly two Runic Fangs, so you might be grinding for a while. Your experience may vary.
