Apex Legends 1.99 is the latest Apex update, featuring a few bug fixes and a new Easter Egg that'll intrigue Lifeline and music lovers alike. The Apex Legends developers don't often release patch notes for these minor updates, so it falls on the community to figure out what's changed. With that said, let's dive into the unofficial Apex Legends 1.99 Patch Notes and go over all of the fixes, changes, and additions.

Apex Legends 1.99 Patch Notes

 


Apex Legends Update 1.99 is on the smaller side, weighing in at less than 1GB, but it does include some notable additions that Apex players may be interested in.

Since Patch 1.99 is relatively minor, Respawn Entertainment did not release any official patch notes. However, as is often the case, the community itself has put in the work to identify what sort of fixes, changes, and additions Patch 1.99 brings.

 

The highlight of Apex Legends Patch 1.99 is probably the enabling of new interactive elements at Lifeline's Town Takeover added in the Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event. Inside Lifeline's Clinic players will find a drum set and a few guitars. Following Update 1.99, you can interact with these objects to make music. This Easter Egg is an ode to Lifeline's favourite hobby, made obvious by her Apex Legends Heirloom.

Apex Legends Patch 1.99 is also responsible for: 

  • Bug fixes to Apex Legends Newcastle's Tactical 
  • Adding a 500 Apex Coins Bundle to the Store
  • Slight Replicator adjustments

Apex Legends 1.99: Known Issues

 

While not quite ready for Apex Legends Update 1.99, there are a few known issues that Respawn Entertainment is working rapidly to address. These issues have been acknowledged by Respawn and will receive fixes in a future patch:

  • Apex Legends Loba’s Tactical failing on certain Storm Point terrain
  • Select Xbox headsets not picking up the player’s mic
  • Input delay issues with Xbox controllers
  • Predator Ranks receiving incorrect rewards

There will always be issues with a live service title like Apex Legends, but it's nice to see that Respawn is willing to address them with haste. Furthermore, bonus additions like the Apex Legends Lifeline Clinic Easter Egg are a welcome surprise.
