A Town Takeover is when a section of an Apex Legends map gets remodelled after a legend. Octane, Wraith, Mirage, Bloodhound, Crypto, Pathfinder, Caustic, and Rampart have all been treated to a Town Takeover at one point or another.

The Awakening Collection Event will introduce a brand-new Town Takeover designed around Apex Legends Lifeline. Lifeline's Town Takeover is on Olympus, near the edge of the map in the area east of Gardens and north-east of Grow Towers. The Lifeline Town Takeover point of interest consists of a multi-story medical facility surrounded by a beautiful plaza.
